Heading to La Forêt in Metrotown – the neighbourhood, not the mall – is like watching Burnaby’s past and present collide. Our car slows, pauses at a sentimental relic of the 90s – Bread Garden on Central Boulevard. You might know it as a chain that later re-fashioned and rebranded itself as BG Urban Cafe. Review of Veroni & Co: Our Search for Vancouver’s Best Coffee

Veroni & Co has been open about half a year and has plenty of coffee competition in Koreatown. It’s Stop 126 of our Search for Vancouver’s Best Coffee.

Veroni & Co in Koreatown – we finally find it like mice in a maze, and here it is, a secret place in a dark corner of a Burnaby shopping plaza. When we arrive, it’s a surprise. They actually share the same plaza as to two other independent cafés, Standing Egg Coffee and Black Milk Water.
